Instructor: Dr. Donald Brinegar and Dr. Karen Miskell

The "Sounds of Summer!" Concert will feature singers and instrumentalists from our Polaris Chamber Choir, Festival Chorus, and Festival Orchestra.

The Polaris Chamber Choir will rehearse and present choral works from the broad spectrum of choral literature focusing on American composers and "Americana" works in conjunction with our award of an America250 grant through the generosity of the Alaska State Council for the Arts and the National Endowment of the Arts. Conducted by Guest Artist, Dr. Karen Miskell.

The Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival is thrilled to announce the revival of our Festival Chorus and Orchestra this year, programs that have been dormant since before the COVID pandemic. Conducted this year, by Dr. Donald Brinegar, members of the Festival Chorus and Orchestra will present "In WIndsor Forest" by Ralph Vaughan Williams for SATB Chorus and Chamber Orchestra. Additional pieces TBD.

Tickets are $25 General Admission/$15 for Children and Seniors. Performance will be held in the UAF Davis Concert Hall
