Choral Reading Session

Come sing through some fun and inspiring choral music with your friends and colleagues!  In Partnership with the renown music publisher and distributer, J.W. Pepper, our FSAF Guest Faculty in Choral/Vocal, Dr. Donald Briegar and Dr. Karen Miskell, are joined by some of your favorite local and visiting choral directors who have selected their tried and true favorite choral works for choirs; Children's Choir, Middle School, High School, Concert, Show, Women's and Men's, College, Community, Church and more! This group of choral directors will lead you through some sight-reading (with a capable accompanist) of these favorite choral works, sharing their tips and tools for teaching each work to your own choirs, and offering suggestions for when and how best to program them. 

Participants will get to use (and keep!) a printed packet of all 20 choral works. These booklets are coordinated and printed with permission by J.W. Pepper -- all titles ready and available from JW Pepper to order for your own groups. These reading session packets are a great resource/reference for later programming efforts for your choral ensembles.
